Description
Indiana University / Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
I was working one night, and stopped by a parking garage here as a storm rolled in. No more did I get the camera onto a tripod and open the shutter than this lightning struck in the dead center of the frame.
Can’t say I’ve ever been that photographically lucky before, having a Monk-ish obsession with symmetry in photography.
This is, interestingly, a revisit of the very type of photography that "sparked" (no pun intended) my initial interest in photography as a kid. It was by random chance that I captured a bolt of lightning on a disposable camera in Wyoming, and I've loved taking pictures ever since.

No more did I get the camera on the tripod and open the shutter than this lightning struck. It was perfectly timed. First shot. I packed up and left after that. lol
